Make your dreams a reality with IKEA loan

IKEA loan is equal monthly installments always payable by the 5th day of a given month. You will find the installment amount and individual bank account number in the agreement.
The amount of the last installment may slightly differ from the other installments. Before paying the last installment, i.e. the Equalization Installment, we will inform you of its amount at least 7 days before its payment date.

You will receive the due date for the first instalment, together with a payment schedule, in an email which we will send to the email address you provided while submitting your application.

Goods can be returned according to IKEA’s return policy.

Once you have signed the loan agreement, you will receive a loan agreement and a repayment schedule to the email address you provided in the application. You will also find in your mailbox, the BLIK cheque you will need to complete your purchase at the IKEA store. Within 3 days of signing the credit agreement, you are invited to the IKEA store of your choice to complete your purchases. Once you have completed your items, head to the checkout where you will pay for your purchases with the BLIK cheque you received. At the payment terminal, enter the BLIK cheque and the PIN you received in the text message. Now just enjoy your new furniture and accessories that will make your home renewed.

If the value of your purchases exceeds the amount requested, you will be able to pay the difference at the checkout using the means of payment of your choice (BLIK code is not available).

Monthly earnings at a minimum of PLN 1,000 net.

Minimum length of employment:
– employment contract – none,
– contract of mandate – 3 months,
– active business activity in Poland – 6 months,
– fixed-term employment contract must be valid for a minimum of 3 months from the date of application.

We will ask for confirmation of your income for loans above PLN 33,000.
For purchases of up to PLN 33,000, we may also ask you to provide additional documents necessary for a credit decision in justified cases.

For purchases up to PLN 33,000, you need:
– the planned amount of purchases at IKEA,
– details from your Polish ID card,
– address, phone number and NIP or REGON number of your employer,
– source and amount of income,
– access to your personal account or mobile phone with the ability to take photos (if you decide to confirm your identity using photo-verification method).

In justified cases, we may ask you to provide additional documents necessary to take a credit decision.

For loans above PLN 33,000, we will also ask you to confirm your income. You can use a certificate of employment and income (remember that the certificate from your employer must contain data included in the Ikano Bank certificate template).

Ikano Bank does not accept e-ID.

Starting from June 1, 2024, we check if your PESEL number is restricted. If you have a restricted PESEL, we will not be able to approve your loan application.

Legal basis: The Act of July 7, 2023, on amending certain acts to limit some effects of identity theft (Journal of Laws 2023, item 1394).

You can apply for financing of all IKEA products with a minimum total sum of PLN 300 and a maximum of PLN 50,000. You can also credit their delivery/collection and kitchen installation – you can check the prices of services here.
Just add their price to the amount of your purchases in the loan application.

Before starting to fill out the online application, check the prices of products you want to buy on installments in the store or on the IKEA.pl website. You can also find out the prices of products using the IKEA app, which you can easily download to your phone.

The credit decision is valid for 30 days, however, after signing the credit agreement, you must make purchases within 3 days, otherwise, you will need to submit a new application. If you want to fill out the application at home and sign the agreement remotely, remember that you can only do so no earlier than 3 days before your planned visit to the IKEA store.

The maximum time to submit the application is 60 minutes until the identity verification process begins.

After reviewing the agreement, you will sign it with an SMS code that you will receive on the phone number you provided.

You can submit the application 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You will receive a decision immediately, and in exceptional situations, it may take several minutes.

Your data is secure. The online form page has a secure SSL connection along with a Secure Global Sign trust certificate.

The waiting time for verifying the loan application may take a few minutes, and in some cases, it may take longer if, for example, we need additional documents from you.

Documents are visible in the credit application. You should review and confirm them.

You can download and save them on your phone. After signing, the documents will be sent to your email inbox protected by a password.

Technical requirements:
The Ikano Bank credit application system is supported by the most popular web browsers (except Internet Explorer). We recommend using the most up-to-date versions of browsers:
Chrome (45.x and higher),
Firefox (38.x and higher),
Edge (11.x and higher),
Opera (30.x and higher),
Safari (9.x and higher).

For mobile devices, select standard iOS settings (version 9.x and higher) or Android (version 4.4x and higher).

After completing the form, you have the option to check the data. If there are any errors, you can return to the form to correct them.
If the form has already been submitted, you can only correct your first name, last name, and ID card details. If you made a mistake in other data fields and no longer have the option to correct them, you will need to submit a new application.

To confirm your identity we will ask you to transfer 1 PLN from your bank account or verify bank account data (AIS). This will allow us to ensure that the installment application is filled out by the person whose details were provided in the application.

Verification involves making a transfer of PLN 1 using a quick electronic payment. The transfer details will be generated automatically, without interrupting the application process. After identity verification, we will refund the PLN 1 to your bank account.
We do not have access to your account balance or transaction history. Before completing verification, please have your bank account login details ready. Important: the transfer must be made from your personal account. We do not accept business accounts. If you share a personal account, the application should be submitted by the first joint account holder.

Not all banks provide the necessary information for identity verification in a timely manner to process the application. Sometimes your bank is conducting technical work, which may cause it to disappear from the list of banks that provide this method of identity verification. In that case, you should submit the application when your bank is available.

AIS verification involves automatic access to the applicant’s bank account information. Before performing verification, prepare your bank account login details. The account owner should submit the application. If you share a personal account, the first joint account holder should submit the application. Your data and access are secure. We don’t store them – you log in directly to your bank account. Furthermore, your connection to the bank is encrypted using a special protocol, protecting you from attempted cybercriminal attacks.

The verification transfer or AIS verification can only be done by clicking on the bank icon. A message will appear to redirect you to the bank’s website, where you will log in, make the transfer, or verify using AIS. After verification, you will return to the application page and receive a credit decision there.

Photo verification involves automatically reading your ID card data and performing biometric facial verification using your smartphone’s camera.
To complete the photo verification process, you’ll need your ID card and your smartphone. During photo verification, you must allow access to your phone’s camera. You’ll be asked to scan a QR code or provide your phone number, take a photo of your ID card, and complete a simple task (selfie, head movement, or connecting the dots).

Remember! Your ID photo must be of very good quality, preferably against a plain background. The random task should be performed in very good lighting.

After verification is completed, you should be redirected to the application page. Sometimes you may need to wait a moment. During this time: do not refresh the page, do not close with an “X”, do not go back with an arrow. Then wait for the credit decision and sign the agreement with an SMS code.

Note! This may take several minutes, depending on the waiting time for a response from your bank.

We will ask you to confirm your income for loans above 33,000 PLN.
