IKEA loan involve equal monthly installments – payment is due by the 5th day of each month. You will find the installment amount and the individual bank account number in the credit agreement. The exception is the last installment, which is the balancing installment. Before its due date, you will receive an email from us with the exact amount.

Once you have received a positive credit decision, you will be automatically redirected to the identity verification and finalization stage of the credit agreement. You will sign the agreement online using the SMS code that you will receive at the phone number provided in the application. After signing the agreement, you have 3 business days to complete your purchases.
Important! Not planning any purchases within the next 3 business days? Conclude the agreement no earlier than 3 days before the planned IKEA shopping date (preferably on the day of visiting the store). You have 30 days for this. This is how long your credit decision is valid. You will receive a link to the finalization process at the email address provided in the application.

We will ask for confirmation of your income for loans above PLN 30,000.

For purchases up to PLN 30,000, you need:
– the planned amount of purchases at IKEA,
– details from your Polish ID card,
– address, phone number and NIP or REGON number of your employer,
– source and amount of income,
– access to your personal account or mobile phone with the ability to take photos (if you decide to confirm your identity using photo-verification method).
In justified cases, we may ask you to provide additional documents necessary to take a credit decision.
For loans above PLN 30,000, we will also ask you to confirm your income. You can use a certificate of employment and income (remember that the certificate from your employer must contain data included in the Ikano Bank certificate template). -
Ikano Bank does not accept e-ID.

Starting from June 1, 2024, we check if your PESEL number is restricted. If you have a restricted PESEL, we will not be able to approve your loan application.

You can apply for financing of all IKEA products and include your delivery/collection or kitchen installation.
All furniture, accessories, and services from PLN 300 to PLN 50,000. You can check the prices of services here. Just add their price to the amount of your purchases in the loan application. -
Before starting to fill out the online application, check the prices of products you want to buy on installments in the store or on the IKEA.pl website. You can also find out the prices of products using the IKEA app, which you can easily download to your phone.

The credit decision is valid for 30 days, however, after signing the credit agreement, you must make purchases within 3 business days, otherwise, you will need to submit a new application. If you want to fill out the application at home and sign the agreement remotely, remember that you can only do so no earlier than 3 business days before your planned visit to the IKEA store.

The maximum time to submit the application is 60 minutes until the identity verification process begins.

After reviewing the agreement, you will sign it with an SMS code that you will receive on the phone number you provided.

You can submit the application 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You will receive a decision immediately, and in exceptional situations, it may take several minutes.

The waiting time for verifying the loan application may take a few minutes, and in some cases, it may take longer if, for example, we need additional documents from you.

To confirm your identity we will ask you to transfer 1 PLN from your bank account or verify bank account data (AIS). This will allow us to ensure that the installment application is filled out by the person whose details were provided in the application.

Verification involves making a transfer of 1 PLN using fast electronic payment. The transfer details will be generated automatically, without interrupting the application process. We will refund the 1 PLN to your account.
We will not see the balance of your account or transactions. It is important that the transfer is made from your personal account. We do not accept business accounts. If you share a personal account, the application should be submitted by the primary account holder. -

Not all banks provide the necessary information for identity verification in a timely manner to process the application. Sometimes your bank is conducting technical work, which may cause it to disappear from the list of banks that provide this method of identity verification. In that case, you should submit the application when your bank is available.

AIS verification involves automatic access to information about the bank account of the applicant. The application should be submitted by the account owner. If you share a personal account, the application should be submitted by the primary account holder. Your data and access will be secure, they are not stored – you log directly into your bank account. Additionally, your connection to the bank is encrypted with a special protocol, preventing any data interception.

The verification transfer or AIS verification can only be done by clicking on the bank icon. A message will appear to redirect you to the bank’s website, where you will log in, make the transfer, or verify using AIS. After verification, you will return to the application page and receive a credit decision there.

Photo verification involves automatically reading data from your ID card and biometric face verification using the camera on your smartphone.
To perform the photo verification process, you will need your ID card and a smartphone. We will ask you to scan the QR code or provide a phone number, take a photo of your ID card , and perform a simple task (selfie, head movement, or connecting dots).
Remember! The photo of the ID card must be of very good quality, preferably on a uniform background. The random task should be performed in very good lighting. -
After verification is completed, you should be redirected to the application page. Sometimes you may need to wait a moment. During this time: do not refresh the page, do not close with an “X”, do not go back with an arrow. Then wait for the credit decision and sign the agreement with an SMS code.
Note! This may take several minutes, depending on the waiting time for a response from your bank.

Considering the environment we do not send paper repayment forms. Once you sign the loan agreement, you will receive your copy of the agreement, which contains detailed information about your loan, including information on how and when you will repay the loan.

The insurance protects you from being unable to repay your loan for the purchased goods in case of difficult life situations such as death, total incapacity to work, or (depending on the insurance variant) loss of employment, temporary incapacity to work, or serious illness. Additionally, the insurer will compensate you if the purchased goods are damaged or lost. The detailed description of individual benefits and terms and conditions for their granting are specified in the General Terms and Conditions of Life Insurance and Risk of Unemployment “IKEA Loan Repayment”.

In the event of your death, the insurer will pay out benefits to the person you designate in the insurance application. They will receive the remaining amount of the loan to be repaid, plus an additional amount sum of PLN 3000.

In case of total incapacity to work, the insurer will pay up the remaining amount of the loan to be repaid.

In case of temporary incapacity to work, the insurer will pay you the equivalent of the monthly loan installment for as long as the incapacity to work persists, confirmed by a medical certificate, but not exceeding 6 monthly installments.

In case of the loss of employment, the insurer will pay you the equivalent of the monthly loan installment for as long as you remain unemployed and eligible for benefits, for a maximum of 6 installments.

In case of a serious illness, the insurer will pay you a one-time benefit equivalent up to 12 monthly loan installments, required immediately after the date of the insurance event according to the loan repayment schedule.

Serious illness includes one of the following diseases: heart attack, stroke, kidney failure, cancer, coronary artery bypass surgery. Serious illness must be confirmed by a medical diagnosis and not be a result of a previously existing illness (i.e., diagnosed or treated within 24 calendar months prior to the commencement of insurance).

This is insurance for the financed goods against the risk of unintentional damage within 120 days from the date of the receipt or its loss due to theft or robbery. In these cases, the insurer will pay you compensation in the amount indicated on the receipt.

Yes, the sum insured is PLN 50 000.

A claim can be reported by any person, however, remember that information about the reported claim can only be provided to authorized persons, i.e., the Insured or, in the event of death of the Insured, the person indicated in the insurance application or the heirs of the Insured. The compensation is paid in accordance with the provisions of the General Terms and Conditions of Life Insurance and Risk of Unemployment “IKEA Loan Repayment”.
